I just don't like that euphemism. Not really something I'd say and for me its not attractive for a girl to say.

It wasn't to do with being prudish.

I just watched Somers Town and JCVD.

Somers town is very short, but has great characters and direction, makes bits of london look very evocative. Shane Meadows is always worth a watch.

JCVD is bizarre, I'm not sure whether it's a film, an autobiography or a swipe at the media and hollywood. I'm guessing it's a bit of all three, and it's definately 'a film for Belgium'. His little speech at the end of chapter 3 is very convincing.

I've got the Life of Brian on at the mo.  "What Jesus fails to appreciate is that it's the meek who are the problem".  I've lost count of how many times I've watched it and yet I'm still, to turn a phrase, pissing myself.

Life of Brian over.  I almost went to bed - then I put Fever Pitch on instead.  Nothing on the book, but a worthwhile watch.

What's JCVD then?

All I can think of is that Justin Collins has confused the monkeys at bristol zoo with local ladies, and has caught something nasty as a result. And has somehow spun it into one of those all too common Belgian anti-holloywood flicks, with the subplot of his rotting cock interwoven into the general storyline.

No?

Jean Claude Van Damme

Oh I see. I think a Belgian film about Justin Collins having Venerial Disease from monkey sex would be better.

Or maybe a film where a genetic cloning experiment goes wrong and Jim Carrey ends up pregnant with Vin Diesel's child. Sort of like a re-imagining of Junior. Schwarzenegger could make a cameo as the genetic scientist.

It's a fun family film which writes itself. Anybody got any Hollywood producers telephone numbers?

I watched State Of Play at a free showing last weekend and was told to go and tell 10 people to go and watch it.

So if 10 people read this then I have done my job and earnt my freebie.
