I just watched kidulthood, good film and good soundtrack, will have to order the sequel, Adulthood.
ooooooo I LOVE these films - even though it takes me a while to understand what some of them are talking about - innit blood! Im so in Love with Noel Clarke - I cant believe he wrote the film as well as starring in it (or summit like that?) |

I wondered if I'd missed that. When I watched it my copy skipped about 15 seconds from seeing the van drive along the road to the bit where the guy's telling Pitt not to kill Spacey (Kevin Spacey, that is). |

Adulthood is not as good as kidulthood, but still enjoyed it. I had to translate it for the girlfriend  Also watched benjamin button, I was thoroughly bored by it, did nothing for me at all. Also, he starts off as a tiny 80 year old, shouldn't he end up as a 6ft baby? |

The book was superb from what I remember. I read it a couple of years ago whilst at the peak of my fascination with him, and before seeing 'Walk the Line' (which seemed a bit shitty and cheesy after the authenticity of the book version, probably testament to how well he gets his character across on the page).
It follows more or less the same path as 'Walk the Line', but is much better. If you liked the film, I'd definitely recommend it.
You'll want the Patrick Carr version.
