I just bought a load of dvds due to the inevitable boredom I will face whilst staying in a hotel on my todd next week.

Although I may try and see if FM will play ok on my work laptop.

I just finished watching Indigènes (translates as Days of Glory). It's a French film (subtitled) about the French-African soldiers in WW2. Very good watch.

Actually, after watching the film, Nicolas Sarkozy re-instated the French-African soldier's pensions and paid them in full.

Days of Glory is mega popular at work, sells really well - obviously get quite a few returns "it's bloody foreign", it lives in the World Cinema section.

I just watched Casino. I think that's actually the first time I've seen the whole thing all the way through and not bits of it here and there.

Saw Yes Man while massively hungover on New Years Day, not as good as the book (obviously) but still alot better than i was expecting. I'm absolutely besotted with Zooey Deschanel now.

Looking forward to seeing The Wrestler and getting around to seeing Australia

I watched Knocked Up tonight. I was pretty disappointed with it, not because it was a bad film, but it's one that was hugely exaggerated to how good/funny it was by most people I've spoken to.

Also that scene is not as bad as people make out. At school we had to watch a video of a woman giving birth in sex education and that really was fucking sick. In fact, I think it tamed everyone's hormones for about five minutes, which was no mean feat.

She's mint isn't she?

Sadly she has just got engaged to the singer from Death Cab for Cutie.

The good news is that Winona Ryder is single.

I didn't even think Knocked Up has a "that scene" kind of scene! It's a decent watch, I preferred it to Superbad because the latter tails off.

She's as mint as a box of after eights. Such a shame, i really liked DCFC, not anymore!

You're right though, she is very "winona", except less mad
