I just watched Envy with Ben Stiller, jack Black and Christopher Walken. Not a good film.

A spray that vaporises dog shit - you have to wonder what substances were being used at the time of writing the "comedy" don't you!

I watched Envy during a phase in my life when I decided that watching as many critically panned movies would be fun (I worked for Blockbuster at the time so at least watched them for free - but no excuses!)

Teeth sounds grim, but has to be said mildly amusing. Not sure if i could cope with seeing it though.

Got Notes on a scandal from the library to watch, enjoyed the book and Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett are in it so expecting good things.

Spare a thought for poor old Andrew Simpson, the young lad who had to film all of those takes of getting it on with Cate Blanchett!

Teeth is ok, certainly original. It's not gruesome though as you don't see some sabre toothed Minnie frothing at the mouth chomping away on its victims.

There is no Minnie action at all actually. Booo.

i saw control last night, the one about ian curtis.

kindve weird, obviously tragic, not enough music and a slightly short life to warrant such a biographical film- of course that's what really makes the tragedy though.

would recommend it though to anyone with a slight interest in JD/post-punk, but watch with an open mind.

I've also enjoyed control. I found it very poignant as to how something such as epilepsy can affect somebody's life. It made me think of our Fred, and others.

Finally got round to watching Hot Fuzz tonight. It wasn't as amusing as I thought it would be, but it was quite entertaining all the same.
