Me too, A Lonely Place To Die looks sounds good too. Off to see Friends With Benefits later with the Mrs... I know how that one pans out...

I watched Insidious yesterday. Not really into horror films but started quite promisingly and then dropped during the second half.

Terrible in the end, but like you say started out pretty well and looked promising.

I watched Angels & Demons at the weekend. I'll openly admit that I'm a big lover of Dan Brown books, even though the TEF may frown upon me for saying so.
However, the film was awful. If I hadn't read the book I wouldn't have known what the hell was going in. And the film digressed so much from the book.
Yet another book to film adaptation that just didn't work.

I watched X-Men First Class yesterday afternoon, didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Pretty good cast, although some cheesy cameos from Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Romijn, and a decent story.
I think I'm a little in love with Rose Byrne now...

Nowt wrong with Dan Brown books. The Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons were brilliant in book form, but like you say, the film versions were just awful. I'm nearly done with Deception Point, which isn't that great to be honest, i'm only finishing it now for the sake of it.

i watched Unknown and the new gulliver's travels last night.
Unknown was not as good as Taken and the story is pretty stupid but its well shot and nice and easy to watch without being too anoying
Gullivers travels was a load of wank. Jack black being himself with a large budget and a weak storyline. Good british cast that are completely wasted, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Angels and Demons was better than DVC - All the other ones are complete wank - including the lost symbol

The Other Guys - just what I expected, a stupid comedy film which definitely tickled the funny bones. I would recommend it to those who like Anchorman, Step Brothers, Zoolander etc.
The Adjustment Bureau - could have been a lot darker and intriguing. It was good but got pretty tedious by the final 20 minutes.

The Lincoln Lawyer is also a decent film if you can stand McConaughey's drawl all through the film.

Lincoln lawyer was a reasonably good film, but there were whole scenes where either I couldnt hear or understand what was being said.
Oh how I yearn for the glory days of black and white silent films interspersed with shaky shots of words explaining what is going on!
