I didn't mind Get Smart - maybe because I was expecting it to be horrific, it was too long though.

Step Brothers was better than Talladega Nights but still not as good as I hoped - I enjoyed it though.

Was going to see RocknRolla today - but it's pissing it down and I canny be bothered.

As is said i'm sure it sucks, but i'm willing to give it ago  Smiley

Saw Goodnight and good luck, was alright, bit dull and worthy though.Thought the main actor was good. Also Secretary, which was very strange and effecting in ways i wouldn't describe for fear of putting people off their tea Wink

I loved Good Night & Good Luck when I saw it at the cinema - haven't seen it since... I liked Secretary too.

When the latter came out for rental I was working at Blockbuster - this person returned it complaining that it's described as a black comedy and it didn't make her laugh, that happened alot but the best bit was when she told me that she rented it to watch with someone who had just returned from hospital for self-harming.

I politely read out the description on the back which mentions that Maggie G's character was that way inclined.

Best tag line though - ASSUME THE POSITION.....

I found Secretary to be a great film to watch with your special lady friend.

I have Eagle vs Shark and This Is England to watch.

To hell with FB, I'm elated Cheesy - I love the U.S. Office too - so here's hoping... Saying that if they get them all on board Dan Ackroyd should contribute.

Best band name to emerge lately?

I watched The Devil's Chair this weekend. A bit silly, with lines of narration lifted straight out of A Clockwork Orange. It never seems to decide how seriously it's taking itself. Good fun though.

Finally got round to watching Battle Royale, which is a pretty sexy film.

Watched something else to, but can't remember what.

watched a few films this weekend...

diary of the dead - heard it was poor, so was expecting little. i was pleasantly surprised and although romero's satire has become less subtle, the gore was stupendous.

scum - brutal.

all the boys love mandy lane - started terribly, got better once it got into teen slasher territory. descended into farce.

dark water - more of a psychological thriller than a horror at times but excellent nevertheless...
