I watched 'Phoenix' which starred Ray Liotta. I thought it was a pointless film.

Just watched this [American Gangster], thought it was really good.

I saw it recently too. It was enjoyable enough, although over-long in the middle and then strangely rushed in the last act. It was like a series of The Sopranos mixed with a series of The Wire, wrapped up inside 3 hours.

For those who like westerns watched Seraphim Falls last night, very good, although slightly sappy end.

You need to give it 20  minutes or so, I very nearly turned it off, but glad i saw it through.

Watched Richard Attenborough's film Chaplin again earlier. I find the early history of U.S. cinema really interesting.

Really good film, Robert Downey Jr. is a damn fine actor... He "partied" far too hard for far too long to be a modern film great but I rate him.

I just watched Brick Lane, not a bad film, but certainly not one for action junkies.

not quite, but it is about a British Asian family living in Brick Lane.

Home alone again tonight, got a bottle of white wine and a packet of Hob nobs and Sharara is on film four at 9.Sure it sucks but would have thought there will be plenty of unneeded shots of Matthew McConaughey's six pack. Also Lennie James is in it!

Blithe Spirit is on in 20 mintues too Smiley Sadly i'm waiting for a plumber to show up so not sure how much i'll get to see.

Sahara was poor.

In the last week I've seen Hellboy 2 (meh), Step-Brothers (Ok) and Get Smart (suprisingly enjoyable)
