DeMerit is still available. Wonder if he's on our radar?

We need to gel as a team and players start performing to their potential (or their levels of performance last season). Yes I'm looking at you Messr's McGovern, Prutton, Douglas and Cuthbert.....

Fully agree Pumbaa, and they also need to cut out the stupid mistakes at the back !!

Course we do- we cannot go through with just 3 CB and we badly need that commanding presence and organisational ability Greer had. We also need to replace 30 goals unless you think Pericard will get them.

Agree to some degree with the first point, we need another CB, and ideally an experienced pro who can bring leadership and organisation to our backline. We may not get one. Time for Cuthbert to step up to the plate and bring Morrison/LJF with him. It may take time, it may take some patience, but it might just bloody well work.

We don't need another striker, we have four on the books already (Austin, Dossevi, Pericard and Ball). Whether they are good enough, collectively, remains to be seen.

Keep moaning though, its keeping me entertained......

Features in this article and by the sounds of it wouldn't be interested in coming here.

Danny Wilson sounded quite peeved during the after match interview about not managing to get a CB in.  He mentioned Collins and Askew and said there were a couple of others in the frame in the last 24 hours as well, but all fell through.  I wonder why?  Seems like a lot of time and effort was wasted on Gow as well, which he was obviously fuming about and probably didn't help if the club were messing about with him.  Did he go anywhere else instead?

i'm just having a nose through the free transfer list. you could build a very decent league 2 team from people on there, assuming they'd want to play that low n all

good to see aljofree's not got another club
