Don't know why he's looking to bring him in, would rather he looked to replace the players we lost in the summer.

We need another striker, ideally with pace. At the moment the only option DW has to offer to add an attacking 'threat' from the bench is O'brien and Bodin.

There are still some players that are free agents that will be ideal for us, like Febian Brandy

One would presume there is a good reason they're still unnatached

8 goals in 55 games is not a very good return for a "highly rated" player. A bit small and very lightweigth, I don't think he could do it at this level, partly proved byt 1 goal in 7 games for Jills last year. Thats a similar scoring rate to Tope Obideyi and Ben Hutchinson.

Nah move on past this one.

Austin and Ball will be available again soon. There aren't likely to be many pacy reliable goal scoring machines for loan places are there ?

True. Loaning young players seems very much a gamble, sometimes you find gems with the work ethic and ability of Danny Ward, I'm sure there's an extensive number of unearthed young, pacey goal machines out there.

I know he's injured but don't think that Ball has been given a fair crack yet and looks like he could do much more for us. Even Ward took two or three games to get settled.

The amount of appalling loan strikers far outweighs (probably 4 to 1) the amount of successful loan strikers.
