He is a free agent isnt he ?

Yeah, unattached. Although as bigbobjoylove said, he sort of implies he wouldn't come here. Or even perhaps that we've already spoken to him, which would seem likely.

The new 25 man squad thing being introduced to the PL today/tomorrow will probably mix things up a bit too, might be a few more players available as a result

I think it will have a negative impact on us if any at all.

PL clubs are not going to be as keen to loan out u21's on the fringes of their 1st team squad. This wont apply to the biggest clubs as the sort of player we would get on loan from them is realisticly nowhere near their 1st team - their hot prospects go to the championship or sometimes even lower PL clubs.

Its very unlikely we're going to be signing any over 21's left out of the 25 man squad.

I agree that we're not going to be getting any players direct from the PL but it will filter down. Clubs are being forced to nurture homegrown talent more so are likely to send their prospects out to other PL or high Championship clubs and as a result more players from the Championship will become available.

I hope.

Talking of comedy football names.....I saw t'other day that Northampton had a couple of unused subs recently.....Slowe, Death.

Couple of youngsters Charlie Death and Alistair Slowe.

He'd better pull his finger out there. I really can't see that working well.

i find this most odd. especially where the majority of Baggies fans i speak too want him to start each week as they reckon he's the hardest working forward they have.
