We wont sign him because we have signed Dossevi, Kandol was only a back up signing in case we didn't get Tommy.

I've just had an email from a friend of mine. Apparently Jay Demerit has been seen in Swindon train station this afternoon.

He still hasn't got a club? I'm quite surprised. Fishy rumour though.

I'd quite happily welcome him here. Bit surprised he hasn't got a club yet, but definitely has the experience and leadership qualities we're after.

The ultimate football transfer rumour - the alleged 'sighting'. I hope my cynicism turns out to be unfounded, however.

Weren't there rumours about him coming before/during the WC?

Can't see us affording his wages, can't see him dropping to league 1.

People said that about Douglas and to some extent Caddis & also Cox before that Batch.

I wouldn't say it's completely unreasonable.

Well we have freed up more wages by releasing Dave Byrne and its all out of the same staff budget.
