we said that about jimmy davis who i think along with ward have been the best loan signings we have ever made. if i remember it was two occasions jimmy came on loan to us, but i could be wrong as i was only young back then. |

If I remember correctly we also tried to get Jimmy again the following season. However Man Utd wanted him to play at a higher level, and so he went to Watford. |

Why would someone of Ward's class want to go to a team where he'll get overlooked, and when played never get the ball because the keeper keeps on hoofing it up to the striker. |

micheal carrick must be the best loan signing i have seen at the county ground, he was different class, I remember a flick header from the edge of the box that he scored and you could tell he would go on and become a player
