It seems to have been the quitest close season for rumours involving us this year ever dont you think? Maybe because we finished the season so late and the WC but still, on the back of this Celtic thing stalling i'd like to know there are other things going on.

Didnt DW say they had offers in for 4 people before they went to Austria? Are the other two the bolton deals or something else?

Seem to remember reading a while back that Vine was on around 10k per week.  If true, it puts him out of our reach and could make it difficult for QPR to offload him anywhere unless they're prepared to carry on paying a chunk of his wages

I'm not sure if this is just BBC Radio Swindon regurgitating old news but they reported this morning that we have put in a bid for Matt Ritchie.

There was also an interview with DW after the game & Ferry & Caddis were discussed saying that a new bid had been submitted for the pair and they were hoping to hear something by the end of the week.

With regards to loaning these 2 players Celtic are keen on selling because they did to balance the books & Ferry is nearly out of Contract & they'd rather sell Caddis than loan him as there were a number of SPL and english clubs interested in loaning him also.

I forgot to add that they are looking at other players should the Ferry / Caddis deal not happen
