It isn't the first time I've read about Billy Sharp to Swindon (outside of STFC forums).

That would be grrrrreat.

They paid £2 million two years ago.

When was he a target

In fairness, I do recall reading something (on the BBC I think) linking us with Taylor. Was a few weeks ago though and not much was made of it.

Fitton states "We’ve got a player who I think will be joining us from a much bigger club, and we can do a similar arrangement with him" lots of speculation on forums that Billy Sharp could be our man. If Wilson pulss this one off then I think there will be a few teams worried about us next year.

Sharp would be a class act in this division whether on loan for a season or to buy permanantly, either way would be brilliant....even if it is pretty unlikely.

someone at sheff united needs to take a class is business

sold him to scunny for 100,000 and then bought him back 2 years later for 2mil, and now gonna sell him for what? 1mil? (i cant see swindon fronting more than that)

sounds more like a loan move, either way, i'll take it

I'll be amazed if we get Billy Sharp here whether its on loan or not.

If we do sign him then we have to get Andy Keogh from Wolves at all costs Smiley
