Anyone got any info regarding the Lita rumour of him being at the club last week?
I've heard this from more than one person now and I just can't see him even being interested in us, nor us meeting wage demands.

I want Lita to sign for us. In the press conference he could light up £50 notes. Hopefully Aaron Brown will come back to.

Sheff Utd bid £1m for Lita in january, Reading accepted but Lita said no and now he's available on a freebie. He's obviously got Championship clubs after him, possible Premier League as well, so there is only one reason I could see for him dropping down to League 1 - a shit load of cash.
How much would Fitton cough up for him? Might be a fair wad, but I can't see it being enough.

I can't believe anyone still seriously believes that Lita rumour. I mean come on. It's never going to happen and was always a load of bollocks.

Very likely. Except, if Fitton was willing to pay £500k for a decent striker (which Lita is easily worth) and then say £5k a week salary that would be £1.25m over 3 years. As he's on a freebe, would £1.25m over 3 years be enough to persuade Lita? I doubt it but you never know. I'm wondering how many decent strikers Wilson wants. Would he be happy with someone decent like Lita, Paynter and then a youth team / loan player as cover? Maybe he is planning to pack the midfield and play with 1 up front. I still think its bollocks and won't happen, but then everyone said the same about Douglas. Though this would be bigger, a lot bigger.

I'd like to see 2 brought in at least, however for the first season in a while, I can honestly say I have faith in Wilson/Fitton to bring in some decent options.
I honestly think that Fitton will give DW a decent sum to fill the void that was Cox...
