jamie clapham, a free agent left-back with bags of experience including finishing third in the premiership.
spotted leaving the CG this morning.
He's just been on trial at Southend who declined to give him a contract. At 32 i would find this surprising.

You'd have thought Dave might have thought it just the ticket and conducted an on line poll.....or Yeovil in his incarnation as Olive, or has he gone on a summer holiday?

Right, apparently we're after a winger who can play on both sides and is available on a free. The only Championship player that springs to mind is Preston's Joe Anyinsah. A Bristolian who has been rotting away at Deepdale for some time - helped tear us to pieces at Carlisle last season and also played on loan with Crewe last season. I have absolutely no source. http://www.carlisleunited.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/5d/6a/0,,10361~3435101,00.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Anyinsah"Joe plays as a winger on both sides, though he is right footed. He is known for his footwork, dribbling skill and his rauncy jokes." - Good ol' wikipedia.

Alessandro Campana (Watford), James Upcott (baaardiff), Lewis Craig (Burnley & Scotch U16) are a handfull pulled from the chaffed button hole.

I was going by the "clues" in the Adver article which admittedly could well be rubbish.... "The Town boss is looking to make it a triple swoop by the end of the week as he closes in on a Championship winger who can play on either flank and in attack.
The player spent last season on loan at a couple of clubs in League One and is thought to be available on a free transfer."

Reading between the lines, I think we're going to sign three players
