Sol Davis was an unused sub yesterday in Luton's 3-0 win over Bedford.
Sam Parkin scored in the game which featured trial appearances from Robin Hulbert and Ashley Westwood.

So Parkin has not yet gone to Millwall then?

Did that have any kind of truth (bid, confirmed interest) though?

I'm pretty sure it was David Byrne who said he had gone there, that Millwall were paying him 5K a week and that STFC would not consider paying him (or anyone) anything like that. If it wasn't Byrne it was definitely some one from the management team.

Just spoke to a Shrewsbury fan who reckons we've had a bid accepted for Ben Davies, their midfielder. Don't think theres anything to it really.

Alas, it would be quite a good signing that. This BBC article doesn't suggest he's leaving - then again, those targets can be achieved anywhere. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/shrewsbury/7488077.stm

Most seem too... The others are saying he's overrated (which normally indicates that they are the people sat behind you on matchdays slagging everybody off even though you're winning 4-0).
Never played above League Two - but there's not a massive difference and he's the right age and has the adequate amount of experience.
Lets wait and see how quickly the Adver latch onto this rumour.

Maher is a hard working midfielder who gets a goal or 2 a season, not a huge gamble but hey what the heck we could do with some central midfield strengthening.
Ben Davies is a very good player who at 27 has been round a bit and always seems to deliver the goods and knocks in his fair share of goals 36 in @ 250 games and is also Screwsbury captain, a god shout I think.
