Someone on the Cambridge forum reckons they’ve heard Smith has asked to leave us. Assuming it’s bollocks but anyone heard anything similar this end?
That is definately bollocks, made up to wind us up, nothing more nothing less.

Somebody on the Cambridge forum called us a smaller club, and I don't think it was taking the piss.

You can't trust the Cambridge forum

I don’t expect fans of other clubs to take any notice of the bollocks posted on other fans’ forums.

Ergo, I wouldn’t take any notice of theirs.

Have they actually achieved anything in their history? Honestly, I haven’t a clue.

Reckon Smith will be off if I'm honest. My theory is we offered Smith new terms, his agent then went sniffing around to see if he could get better and Cambridge have taken the bait. Just depends on how much we want in cash money. I reckon 150k would probably be close to accepted.

These are just my thoughts, no ITK or anything.

I agree

People that think we will get upwards of 300k are deluded

I understand the goalposts may have moved in the last day concerning Smith.

Still hopeful he will stay but its looking increasingly likely if they up the bid a bit that we will accept it, and I am sure Holloway is not happy about that.

We will see.

Didn't Holloway say something in the Chippenham post match interview along lines of:
We offered him a deal, he came back and told us what he wanted and that's where we are now, nothing really happening?

I reckon Smith will either go or stay…

On another note - assuming he actually plays a competitive game for us - Billy Bodin will break Toumani Diagouraga’s record for longest length of time between Swindon appearances.
