I see marcus ifill has gone to bromley  another  for af fee.

I know it fits the narrative for a certain section of our fan base that even Bromley are splashing the cash on players.

But the reality is this is a 4 month loan deal for a youth teamer that's seems to have never kicked a ball in senior football.

I'll make do with the six forward players we have that have scored 12 goals in our last 4 games thanks.

It's a permanent deal, is it not?

And he is 21 now, not really a Youth Teamer as such.

I assume that's one we'd have hoped to make future money on from when he moved away.

Not seen anything at all for hours really strange… assume that’s us done but we usually get told by the journo’s to go to bed. Heard a new deal has been sorted in separate news.

Decent window but all accounts (excluding any last minute surprises)

Kept our better players.
Improve our weakest position (keeper)
Must admit on paper bringing Nichols & Westley on top of Smith, Drinan, Glatzel, Tshimanga & Ameen seemed a bit excessive but thus far they’ve both contributed something different. Nichols seems more like a link up striker & Westley a fox in the box.

Slight disappoint to see Longelo go. Thought he was just starting to contribute. Not helped with Cox & Kirkman picking up injuries recently.

Still net positive imo.

Best January window for years, was concerned about losing Wright and/or Smith.

Agree, best window in ages - we’re not worse for the first time in 4 years? Maybe the prospect of another weekend of SO69 action twisted the various owners’ arms to not have his trademark January car crash.
