Bob The fan base will have the say at the end of the season. If the majority of season ticket holders renew they are obviously happy with what is currently happening at the club. The owner (s) will see this as a vote of confidence and will continue doing what they have done for many years. Obviously if the majority don't renew... that will be when the fun starts.
This isn’t transfer rumours, but need to respond to this… I’ll renew. Why should I let the owners deny me something I’ve enjoyed with family and friends for 30+ years? I despise the way they treat our club, and everything they stand for, but I won’t let them take it away from me.

SO69 and reduced crowds could easily push it the other way - lucky the owner didn't decide to make some money back. The supporters need to come back and support Ollie and the team irrespective of the owners.
Reapt what you sow . If crowds are down how about addressing the reason.

Renewing isn't a sign of contentment

I have a feeling he will give it one more season, a last hurrah.
If he carries on like it is then I’d welcome him next season too. Still not going to spend money under the current regime but is is great to see our season turn around.

Fully understand and agree. I think you will find 80% of supporters will also agree with you. However sometimes you need to stand up against undesirables who are taking things away from you.

It's easy to encourage others to make the sacrifices that you don't have to make. It's like a fat nurse telling you to lay off the pies and booze. For the same reasons as Frigby - I'm renewing regardless of who owns the club or whoever tells me not to.

I bought 2 tickets today and the main blocks in the DRS look to be selling very well.
Be nice to tip back into the 7000+ territory . . .
. . .and to stuff those pottery throw downs.

Golf course I suspect in the short term He's certainly the type of player that we don't have and needs confidence and an arm round him to do well, Holloway feels like a perfect fit. His confidence was certainly hit by that medical scare and may still be causing problems, he wasn't well when he came here last year. Really hope he gets fit and playing regularly again he's one of a rare breed that gets crowds off their feet and you would pay to watch. Only ever done it for us though.

Best January window for years, was concerned about losing Wright and/or Smith.
By far. Every other one under this ownership has been a total abortion.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps us up & retires.
Clearly not interested in travelling too far & I can’t imagine there hasn’t been better opportunities for him outside of his selected distance.
Think it was close to home. Team was in a poor position. He takes over & it’s still shit then he shrugs his shoulders & says he walked into an impossible job.
He gets us moving up the table & he can take credit & essentially wipe away Grimsby as being his last contribution in football + he got to pass 1000 games.
Keep him at the club in a DoF capacity under a new, younger manager could work. You’d get the new age ideas but the experienced head as well. Would either work really well or they’d hurt heads with each other all the time…
I'd only expect him to retire if its for personal reasons. He alluded to some health issues with his wife. I think outside of that he is ours. He's got the bug and he's close to home. I don't see him looking for progression elsewhere.

21/22 wasn’t horrific Cooper, Barry, Tomlinson and Davison all proved decent additions - however lost KKH, Simpson and Crichlow.

Agree. It was a decent window. Got unlucky With Cooper and Tomlinson injuries. O'brien is now a premier league player too. We certainly had an eye for talent back then with Chorley and Garner.
