Agreed. Another thought - IF its loan then won't Bradford expect game time or more cash if benched? I supposed they didn't last time, but injuries brought him forward.
It seems inconceivable, but may it IS permanent.

Would be an interesting one but there’s not a single player in the starting line up he played with last season and we have a far more reserved playing style now. I’m not sure what would lure him back to us as surely clubs with better prospects are interested? It’s bizarre that in within 8 months of leaving he’d effectively be going to a completely different team.

Yeah the turnover is wild, Cain and Minturn are the only people to have any minutes so far who were at this club on 1st January, and neither are or were exactly key cogs...

That's the way the club have done things for as many years as i can remember- it is not right but this will hold us back continually. You cannot build anything on such a frequent high turnover

I don’t know, am I being too harsh by saying I’d rather not having back again for a loan?
It’s the exact same situation as last season, polishing another club in our divisions asset for them to use or sell on. Can’t see him coming back here on loan unless Bradford feel no one’s meeting their valuation or it’s dropped following the last 6 months and they need to get him in the shop window again for January.
Not a fan.
Aside from that though, a decent profile of forward to add to our squad but not one that we can’t get elsewhere imo (if we’re operating as a proper football club).

Jake Young coming back; not sure if permanent or loan
Is this actually ITK stuff or just Twitter rumours? Also really like the idea of Matt Jay. I remember him well from his Exeter days.

Ryan Howley of Coventry, mentioned in the presser not had much of an airing on here. Looks like one that falls into the punt category.

In an ideal world I'd much prefer Matt Jay over Ryan Howley. I agree, Howley does very much seem like a punt and I feel like we've already filled up that punt midfield space with Joel Cotterill.

Seen in The Moonraker newsletter Jake Young was mentioned, but doesn't sound very likely at all, unsurprisingly.
"There has been speculation about a possible attempt by Swindon to get Jake Young, which would be in the Clem Morfuni signing mould. However, it is understood Young is the subject of interest from League One clubs - Wigan is a name that has come up - who would likely be able to pay a much higher fee."

Find a player that we know fans will like but is subject to interest from better clubs > create rumour with no intention of signing that player> build excitement > sign cheap untested youth.

Tbf, he’s played 5 games in the Championship and 15 in the SPL.

According to the Moonraker and i assume with Khans departure, we want 2 midfield players in, so why not both!
