We are either skint
or we know Tshimanga is desperate to join so are using that as leverage.
Maybe a potential of both things.

The difference is that in league 2 we have to abide by FFP, whereas in the National League they don’t.
Would anyone want to sign a player on loan, that is probably not a starter, who then becomes our highest paid player.

We're still trying to get Tshimanga and have said we'll pay 50% of his wages. Peterborough want 75%. We're not willing to shift our wage budget.
That's fair enough isn't it. If the wage structure is there you can't go blowing it. That the budget is tuppence hapney is another thing

Macanrhony runs his mouth off to try and get the best deal
Tshimanga doesnt go to non league, doesnt want to
No one else comes in for him, he doesnt play and they have to pay 100% of wage
He comes here and they only have to pay 50%
I bet it gets sorted eventually

We will never get questioned for going close to our ffp budget. It will never ever be an issue whilst under these owners. Mystery "Admin" expenses is our highest wage earner. Should have a position on the bench

Loose lips MacAnthony suggests the Wakeling fee was 150-170k.

Perhaps they have gambled on a lower upfront and higher sell on fee. Although knowing this lot, they probably forgot to add that part.

This is it, a lot of our fan base wear it as a badge of honour that they refuse to believe a word our notoriously bullshitting chairman says, but will religiously believe what the notoriously bullshitting chairman of another club says...

See Kennedy has confirmed Khan wants away and he doesn’t want to keep unhappy players.

The actual number for an upfront fee doesn't sound unlikely though, does it? We have sold quite a few players for five figure fees for example, and we haven't been producing accounts over the past couple of years with noted Revenue gains beyond normal trading, other than the Eady money being moved through the club. That number feels about right for Wakeling (wasn't the deal suggested at around the 300k mark in total value?, and I'd imagine the Posh Owner would be keen to leave out add ons that are dependent on things happening rather than guarantees).

Good value for them imo. Not many I agree and I'm probably in the minority but when I look at his stats and when he's played up front his return is very good for a player his age

Khan puts in a transfer request, according to Radio Wiltshire, club have accepted. Not sure that changes anything beyond the formalities.

It means the club no longer have to pay some contracted values to the player I believe. If a club forces a sale they can claim money from their existing contract, if the players requests the move, it removes that responsibility, making it easier for another club to buy (as they usually gets asked to pay off those costs in any fee).
