To be fair JJ did put some quotes from the Kidderminster forum a few posts above. Not particularly helpful are the comments though. Some say he was crap, others say disappointed to see him leave.
Ahh yes I see now. Not sure how I missed that very mixed tho. If we're looking to sign someone playing at that level, you'd hope for overwhelmingly positive reviews... Seems like he's the sort of player we'd have on trial and not outright sign. Could just be an agent pushing his clients name out there and hoping for an EFL move.

I'm sure that I heard an interview when Kennedy, Bignot or Russell said there wouldn't be lots of triallists hanging around pre-season as 'we know who/what we want'. Then, there have been 4 triallists in the first game!

For a first friendly of the summer, I think that is a relatively low number of trialists!

Especially when two were keepers (of the goal)

And we basically played two different teams

'up to' 1.5m but formally undisclosed, and I'm sure there is but no idea how much. Good luck to him, and good work to the club if they've managed to get more than the EPP minimum for him I guess.

Amazing fee really considering he's only featured three times for the senior side. Hats off to the club.

As long as we get a wedge that is invested back into the squad and maybe get a loan player as part of the deal.

I wonder if there is a possibility we’ll get him back on loan for the season.
Repeating myself but from the game time he had I thought he looked very good & our most promising youth prospect possibly since Sean Morrison?
I would have expected him to feature this season.

Yeah agreed. I hope and expect him to make it, but won't get carried away by 1.5M if he scores a perfect hatrick against Brazil in three consecutive World Cup finals stuff being banded around

Yeah agreed. I hope and expect him to make it, but won't get carried away by 1.5M if he scores a perfect hatrick against Brazil in three consecutive World Cup finals stuff being banded around These sorts of deals are hardly ever about the upfront payments, which are never game changers. It's all about a sell-on - see Maidenhead this past week. You basically have two options at this level - create a pathway for several academy players per season to become first teamers and keep them long enough to get the big deal, or sell early and cross fingers on a future sell on.
