Overall, enjoyed watching Hutton's attacking efforts.

A team with top 3 aspirations would probably be better served by a Rob Hunt type fullback.

Not overly sorry to see the back of anyone involved in the Aldershot debacle.

What’s the fee undisclosed😁
Are fees actually undisclosed? Don’t the clubs have to inform the EFL what the fee was?

It’s a great vehicle for dodgy dealing.

Not great defensively, but fuuuuuucking hell some people need to look at themselves if they don't think he was one of the best crossers in this division. Big miss, big boots to fill.

Yes, officially. Of course there are ways and means of circumnavigating things.

UGM to right back with today's signings I'd imagine. Can't imagine Genesini getting a run.

Bit of a risk playing 2 stangers in a key position I'd think.

3 year deal. No wonder he wanted to go.

A class above and a massive miss.

UGM has all the attributes for an excellent right back in a back 4. And none of the attributes for s decent centre half

Exact same with FBT

If Brewitt is injured, got to go with the two new lads in the middle

On Hutton, he is the best right wing back in the league IF in a 352 with a good defender on the right side of the 3 next to him (which we never had).

Hopefully Hutton's assists (both deliberate & inadvertent) for the Gills will balance out so net gain is nothing.

I disagree - if he was so good he wouldn’t be in L2

Our experience in trying to fill the left side with anyone semi competent has shown there are much worse about.  Not sure he has a higher level in him, in the position he has been played, simply because that defensive weakness is so big.  Unsure if he could play higher up the pitch though.

I get what your saying, but his crossing ability is of a much higher level and a very rare commodity. We are highly unlikely to get anyone with that sort of talent to replace him.

So we've signed 5 players to replace 4 top squad members and Clem is telling us this is a good squad. We have taken a team that sits in 16th and made it worse. And thats without changing the manager to a guy who has no experience or coaching badges and with Khan still likely to go - worst kept secret. We are going down
