Has the one from Liverpool actually been signed yet? Haven’t seen anything official

If he has, I'd expect the announcement at 5pm A lot of complaints about the GK position not being a priority. Don't get that myself. Are they supposed to agree the deal then put it on ice for 3 weeks while they get everyone else in?

These two are players being released by bigger clubs and trying to secure a professional contract. It’s a perfectly fair strategy, so long as it is supplemented by signings of a known quality, which of course we know are harder. The latter category are more likely to hold out until the end of the month.

Surely that's meant as "why are we signing a keeper when we have more pressing matters outfield", rather than ordering of signings. But we might do both anyway. Maybe.

Nobody would complain about the keeper if we signed 6 outfield players first.

No, but I'm pretty sure we'll announce imminently - or tomorrow.

New fella’s injury record
That's the striker, not this keeper, who has played pretty consistently.

Ward playing without an outlet is the most pressing matter, imo.

Guessing the new keeper is a bit of a cheap punt signing as you wouldn’t have thought he’ll go straight into the team as largely on the bench for Aldershot and Oxford City are the worst team in the National League so this is a bit of step up.
Liverpool guy could be interesting but if a players hamstring keeps going that’s surely a massive concern as it always seems the type of injury that reoccurs.

Just the sort of injury that needs to be managed properly by the manager & medical team, unfortunately not something we’ve done very well this season
