under Clem we only seem to have had Garner that done well
Which , oddly, is the time we were most restricted in expenditure on players wages. Are we really spending more now than then?

Whether Standing is the real owner or not, he is clearly involved. Not a coincidence a lot of our players (and managers) come from his agency.

Indeed, although it could be we get favourable terms with them, a bit like we did from Spurs when Sherwood was there.

I'd be more inclined to think its another company/name on the gravy train.

Probably sign one player late Friday, saves another weeks wages, plus plenty of time to get acquainted to the rest of the team for Saturday.

Obviously NOT his agency now as he’s resigned. Almost certainly still pulling the strings as I think his wife is now the owner. It’s weird, though. If he wins his case v Power he’s certain to be sanctioned by the FA and barred. I presume he’s looking at getting his money back from Power. Not sure how he’ll get that, tbh.

I saw figures of £1.6 to £1.9million mentioned for players salaries this season, whether that's correct I don't know?. Surely that is our biggest cost? Not sure where we are losing money.

Well, we aren’t ‘losing’ it are we. We are leaching it outside of the club.
If we can’t afford a half decent L2 squad we can all forget about stadium development.

After the Terry Brady debacle we must have had more stadium plans drawn up than any other club within the last 20+ years

I'll raise you a Bristol Rovers Unfortunately, the same Bristol Rovers that have just built a new stand and are ready to work around the rest of the stadium. They also own their own training ground and development centre. Always left behind just watching other clubs develop and grow
