I don't think it will regarding existence. He is owed a lot of money by the club he will not walk away from that. It may mean we just see us muddling along like we are now until redevelopement etc

Its just opinion of course, but sure feels like we are being degraded season on season.  A bit close to the National League for my liking, as we are just as likely to get it wrong to getting it right. Its high risk.

We might get him on form I suppose. We just need to be lucky and get the right Angol.

Hopefully we can get a good 90 out of him

I've read that some of his play can be absolutely spellbinding, so much so that it can send fans into hypotenuse trances. (Sorry, not sorry)

We might have to change our shape to accommodate him or else it might be a case of a square peg in a round hole.

Unlike the club which is in a straight downward motion.

But if he can’t afford to run it that becomes irrelevant, he must be running out of shady characters he can borrow from every time we have cash flow crisis. He’s been telling people he “hasn’t got a pot to piss in” so if he can’t cover the “losses” then the clubs up shit creek with him in charge.

At danger of bringing the thread on track I do find it interesting reading comments from fans about Jake Young, mainly being too inconsistent/flaky etc. Some of it is the usual football fan response whereby Flynn admits he's out of our price range and immediately the defences go up and his faults are picked apart to the nth degree and eventually he's deemed crap anyway, or wouldn't have scored anything like the amount of goals if we didn't have Dan Kemp etc.

And yet if we are linked to a striker, let's say for arguments sake Lee Angol, who has 4 in 19 for Sutton, immediately he's written off because his goalscoring rate isn't very good.

I know he wasn't brilliant all the time, but Young was the second highest scorer in league 2 behind Langstaff, and he's only 22 years old. If we could afford his asking price, surely you have to take the punt given the start of the season at the club, don't you?

No post loan player blues with me, I have said all season that Young is too inconsistant to be good enough for the Championship.

I have said that since about September, but I would have loved to have signed him as I think in L2 he has a lot to offer and on his day he is brilliant, but his days seem fairly few and far between. So many games he is just an onlooker but he has it in his "llocker" to turn a defender and score a goal out of absolutely nothing.

I never write off players before they sign but some players do not inspire confidence from a fans point of view but its always horses for courses.

Some players work in a certain system or they feel appreciated and that raises their form levels, its always pot luck when you sign a player if he slots into the formation and becomes the missing peice or if he becomes the part that just doesnt fit anywhere.

I love the anticipation of new players, the expectation (or the exact opposite if fans of their previous clubs are anything to go by, ala Young/Doyle etc).

I enjoy the thought that we can take a piece of shit and if not polish it then maybe cover it in glitter.
