This will be vastly unpopular.

But as more and more time goes on, I look back at the job Sandro did with transfers and don't think it was even that bad. At least we were buying our own players.

His issue was being a PR disaster and having such a big role in appointing a manager.

If he had just kept his mouth shut and said what the fans wanted to hear from the beginning he may have stood a chance.

Compared to where we are now, you’d have to agree. At least there was a plan in place. This season is a complete disaster.

We could be stuck for ages as no-one knows when the fucking court case is!
So what’s the outcome mean to the club if Power wins or if Standing wins? Tbh, I’ve half forgotten what it’s about. If Standing reckons he owned or part owned the club - which was sold to Clem for £212,500 - he’s hardly going to get much based on that. Surely his gripe, obviously, with Power and getting his ‘investment’ back from him.

The 'project' certainly needed more time and, in hindsight, we're no better than we were a year ago in terms of squad and sellable assets.

To appoint Di Michele, send him on courses to learn and network, allow him to implement a squad/transfer policy and sack it off after less than a season encapsulates this era. Scattergun with little external evidence of a long-term strategy.

Di Michele wasn't qualified for the position and some will argue that his replacement isn't either. I look back and think the Austin saga was the moment he was finished and most of that should have never gone public.

Sando's biggest issue was his job title, which was a millstone around his neck. He should have been Transfer Strategist or something like that.

The plan wasn't awful but as soon as he had to own the Lindsey appointment debacle he was toast.

Arguably the Austin signing is Clem's biggest footballing fuck up. Blew up Lindsey, Sandro and ultimately Morris. It has been a hugely expensive omnishambles. I like Charlie but the warning signs were there. As soon as his Mrs was calling out Morris on social media he should have been gone.

I think the most we can hope for is some kind of Great Reset in the summer. Kinda like what the WEF want but without culling billions of people.

Hope this reset includes owners too because we’ve reset every single season under Clem so far. It’s tiring.

It's not at all comparable but humour me anyway. Watching the first series of the Wrexham documentary, the first thing the owners (who knew very little about football) did was appoint Shaun Harvey, who has a vast experience in the game. Of course they have significantly more money to play with but they have a plan on and off the pitch and are reaping the rewards.

Clearly we don't have anything like their wealth, but we should have been putting football people in behind the scenes and a plan of action that could have been fulfilled realistically. Chorley/Garner seemed to be a good start but then when both left it seemed we didn't really know what to do and went down the Lindsay/Sandro route which was very unpopular from the outset. Now we've got Flynn/Russell who seem to have their hands tied behind their backs.

I actually was more tolerant of Sandro than many other fans and wanted to give him more time. Unfortunately going back to square 1 all the time isn't going to get us anywhere.

Which, of course, begs the question - do they purposely keep ‘football’ people away from the club to cover up ‘shenanigans’.

Yes, Clem has failed to appoint either a CEO or DoF that knows anything about football since Chorley left.

Even Russell has an academy background. How much does he know about the rough and tumble of a L2 transfer window?

Angus was a poor appointment IMO. Purely there to keep the fans onside and the seals clapped furiously just as Clem hoped, even though he had no idea about the job. Should have been CFO if anything.

As for Hall of Shame, let’s not even go there.

Town were really missing a bogeyman/fall guy figure this season until Anthony Hall allowed fans to 'get to know' him. The best thing he's done since is retreat into the shadows and double-down via emails instead.

If they need bodies, I'm 53 and 237 lbs, not very quick but solid and willing to get stuck in. Can play at weekends but can't make training in the week. Where's my size 12 boots.  Smiley
