Personally I think it's a good decision. Hope he does well.

In all seriousness - he showed something under Garner.
I remember a game home to Walsall (I think) in that play off season and Aguiar had a great game and it’s an individual performance better than anything of our current midfielders have managed…
…whether that game was a fluke or not remains to be seen.
No harm in trying is there - and if he’s isn’t Dan Kemp after 5 minutes we can all go apoplectic with rage

Have we been gaslit so much that we think having as many as two spare midfielders is *too much* squad depth?
Aguiar makes perfect sense, he’s our player I just don’t get the other one really. We probably have 5 or 6 priorities: 2 x striker one to replace Young one to rotate with Austin An attacking centre mid to replace Kemp. A physical centre midfielder. A centre back Possible backup/first choice keeper So with the new guy that’s 6 possibly 7 new players this window? I just can’t see it. With that many new players needed surely firstly you’d get in the priority gaps and pad with any leftover budget at the end of the window. Instead we’ve gone for a midfield squad player first. Just seems all the wrong way round.

Aguiar indeed had a great game against Walsall, scoring twice.
I walked away from the ground that day thinking we'd unearthed a gem and he'd really kick on.
I'm not a fan of the way he's been treated the last couple of years.
He deserves a chance.

Certainly our longest serving player. Bleeds Red, our Rick. As do most people to be fair.

Is it a reasonable assumption to suggest that we are getting loans from MK because they cover the wages for us in lieu of paying the fabled Twine money? In other words, Poverty FC don’t have to stump up any £££.

But they don’t owe us any money. We sold that debt ages ago.

They might owe us money. We also might have taken out a loan against it and spent it already on… consultancy fees and the like.

(Blind) optimism is that Kemp cannot be replaced by 1 player alone - so Devoy and Aguiar can rotate/compete to replace him Pessimism is that Khan will follow Kemp out the door. So Devoy replaces Kemp and Aguiar in for Khan as operation finish 22nd gathers pace
