Is it a reasonable assumption to suggest that we are getting loans from MK because they cover the wages for us in lieu of paying the fabled Twine money? In other words, Poverty FC don’t have to stump up any £££.
No.

Concise!
No point in wasting words unnecessarily I can see why you'd think it, given we appear to have become Franchise's loan development bitches. I'm told this isn't because of the Twine money.

We paid loan fees for Kemp and Young which Franchise and Bradford had to pay back on recalling. Suspect Franchise have offered us Devoy instead of repaying the loan fee.

Unfair on the dog that. He'd do a better job in a number of positions.

Seems like we are a bit like Milton Keynes' feeder club

Does anyone remember when one of our stated aims (rightly or wrongly) was to not have to rely on loans?
Was that… 12 months ago? A little more?

Which is absolutely the right way to go if you want to a build any sort of team that lasts longer than a season. Loans should always be the cherry on top the proverbial squad cake - not the main ingredients.

No our new philosophy is to make shed loads of money for other clubs !. Neither Young nor Kemp were saleable assets back in August . However now they are both extremely saleable if Bradford or Franchise want to cash in they will do very nicely thanks to STFC.

The long term plan for STFC is.... Screw as much money out of the club and try to recover as much of the supposed investment out of an unsuspecting investor. This plan can alter every other Friday or when needs arrive.

The non-investment in anything beyond the end of this season + reliance on loans could make sense, as mentioned above, if the sale is imminent. If it’s not happening this month, I wonder if it’s reliant on the outcome of the court case. Fingers crossed.

This will be vastly unpopular.
But as more and more time goes on, I look back at the job Sandro did with transfers and don't think it was even that bad. At least we were buying our own players.
His issue was being a PR disaster and having such a big role in appointing a manager.
If he had just kept his mouth shut and said what the fans wanted to hear from the beginning he may have stood a chance.
