But Ince not even played an a-league game yet. Therefore I suspect he's being scouted as a future prospect

Hes on an alleged £5k per week and would probably cost a fair size fee as they look to recoup some of the £300k they spent on him.

The rel issue here is with the 7th smallest budget in the league we will have little room for manoeuvre.  Quite frankly we are over achieving based upon budget.  That said spending doesn’t guarantee success forest green being the or perfect example.  I have very low expectations as we are typically very slow and expect us to go into Saturdays game with half a team.  Hopefully the pitch is waterlogged.

Apologies if I missed it, but where is the 7th smallest budget in the league coming from?

Second largest income and 7th lowest budget does seem frugal and (its been done to death sorry) does poo poo the competitive budget statement. With that said, money doesn't always buy success, see Morecambe, Accrington and Carlisle in recent seasons who've been able to go upwardly mobile on presumably very small budgets.

The concern for Saturday is clearly numbers available. Bringing only 1 loanee is a bit concerning given what we have but it is what it is I suppose.

I'd say 8th smallest estimate based upon an estimate that someone once said

From Kemp and Young to an 18 year old with no experience, couldn’t write it really. I know we need to give him a chance etc but the optics are terrible.

Morfuni certainly is personally overseeing this transfer window.

Gladwin would be laughable, it really would.

I’d say it would border on one of our most pathetic signings ever and just signify sheer desperation.

I mean, I'd like us to re-sign Gladwin just for the sheer trivial amusement of it being a fifth spell at the club. But it would be very silly.
