Just about gone these days. Allowed to fall into disrepair and now surrounded by a housing estate.
Gone downhill a bit since I saw it last !!.

Forget about him and move onto someone else.
Think you’re right, fucked us about long enough. Give him an ultimatum and a set time to give us an answer, not like he’s inundated with offers. Can we afford to be pissed about when there are bound to be other options out there.

That's my thinking as money is clearly his priority and alarm bells are ringing that nobody else have offered him what he is looking for.

Interesting fact I just saw.

Ryan Edward's proposed Swindon Town signing(7602 days since first mentioned) has now lasted for longer than the time between World War 1 ending and World War 2 starting (7601 days).

…wow this saga has been going on as long as James Milner’s career at the top level (incidentally he’s played all but 6 games of said career at the top level)

Look, I am not in the know or privy to any inside info but I did see Ben Hennegan who's been training with Sheffield Wednesday is subject to an approach from a League Two club. He's 29, a central defender who was highly thought of at Hillsborough but suffered a bad injury and released by Wednesday. Could he be a possible target?

I remember thinking he was decent enough, nothing outstanding, with an incredible work rate. Carrick on the other hand looked like Bellingham at the same age, albeit at a lower level.

Ryan Edwards I don't think will sign in my uninformed opinion. If he was going to he would have by now.

Milner has definitely got by more on endeavour and endurance than skill. That’s not to say he can’t play a bit but actual footballing skill has never been his top attribute.

Type of player all young players should look up though. Model pro and the best example of maximising your assets.

Carrick is criminally under rated. Great footballer. United still haven’t adequately replaced him.

Whilst it's clearly a frustration the amount of time it's taking to bring a CB in, the challenge with a free agent one, is that we have to know how close to being ready for first team action he is. I believe Edwards has been training with the team for some time now and we're willing to offer him a deal, but not at his terms.

Yes, there are other free agents available, but how fit are they etc etc? Flynn and the team have obviously done all their work on Edwards and are ready to go if the price is right. I suspect it's not as simple as going out and getting someone else straight away? Reading between the lines to me it sounds like we're playing budget chess and hoping he blinks. It's now the middle of September so surely he wants to be playing football sooner rather than later. I suspect he probably still signs, we'll see.

The cynic in me wonders whether Edwards has just been stringing us along training with us to keep fit until a better offer comes in for him.

There comes a time when you either piss or get off the pot and I would suggest we start looking elsewhere, one would amuse that other OOC CB's who are looking for a club have not spent the last 3 months watching Homes Under the Hmmer and eating Doritos so get that net spread wide.

Maybe Edwards just saw Brewitt in training and thought "I'm not getting near this team with this bloke around."

Bit harsh. Brewitt has been pretty good this season.
