I wouldn't mind using one of the Pizza Piss Pot games to see what a Flynn back 4 plan looks like, in case of emergency.

Yeah, true. Dependent on getting through without mishap until Clayton is available. Minturn I would trust. Not done much wrong during 1st team appearances so far.
I think it depends on who gets injured. Let's say Brewitt gets injured tomorrow. You'd probably then slot Minturn straight into the position Brewitt currently plays? I guess if Uwakwe gets injured then Genesini or Benn Ward replaces him. What do you do about replacing FBT or UGM if either (or God forbid both) gets injured?

I've stated before that I'm a tad concerned that the way Flynn has setup so far, hasn't really changed very much and it's surely a matter of time before we get found out. I mean it's been absolutely superb so far and there is much to admire, but opponents are surely looking at ways to stop us playing and take advantage of that via quick counters. I'm sure Flynn is a good enough coach and has worked on alternative formations and strategies, but the proof is in the pudding. Walsall will be a very good test tomorrow, I'm pretty sure of that.

Minturn in the middle doing all the 'Conroy' work of the passing around the back would be a bit of an unknown/worry. One or two go awry each week, but Brewitt passes through the lines quite effectively at times.

I'd have Minturn ahead of Ward in the pecking order, although Bennnn did look better in a CB position than WB last time (might have been the trophy game). Edwards would never have been direct cover for FBT or UGM, so yeah it would be a dilemma if either was injured. The inevitable suspension of FBT should be interesting. Depends how open Flynn is to some creative thinking. Imagine the glorious chaos if Shade rocked up at CB! We saw Hutton in midfield at the end of the Sutton game so looks as is Flynn might be confident that there is some versatility in our small squad.

Yeah should be using those games to try that sort of thing or a Brewitt or Clayton at DCM type of thing.

FBT getting suspended has been coming. Hopefully he can hold off until Clayton is back.

FBT on 4 isn't he? Happy to be proved wrong as it provides some leeway.

yeah i was pretty sure he was on 4 and has been for a few weeks.
If he can avoid getting booked Saturday then we might be alright. Otherwise our options are limited for Morecombe.

If the BBC stats are correct, he got booked against Crewe, FGR and Wrexham in the league and Peterborough in the league cup. I assume only league bookings contribute towards a ban?

Don’t believe that’s the case.

His yellow card in the EFL cup only applies to that competition so he's only on three bookings to date.
