Probably signed him and not bothered announcing it.

As is tradition.

When we were first reported to be in talks with Ryan Edwards, Barbienheimer hadn't been released in the UK. Astonishing how long this whole thing is taking to happen/not happen.

Assume it’ll be the same source but I’ve also heard Edwards off

I suspect Edwards (or his agent) is holding out for his initial requested wage/contractual demands and we can't afford to put all our eggs in one basket if it means we can't then bring in our other target(s). Frustrating, but have to hope our hand isn't forced by injuries and we have decent alternatives that our recruitment team have in the pipeline.

The guy I was speaking to made out like it was nailed on yesterday so I’m not sure what’s happened in 24 hours. This is pure speculation but wouldn’t surprise me if he agreed something in principle here and his agent did a last minute offering out elsewhere and some other club has come in with what he wants or enough to scupper it here. Ironically Walsall need a CB since Hussey retired and seemed to be happy putting money about.

Still standing besides the M5, or was the last time I came past.

Just about gone these days. Allowed to fall into disrepair and now surrounded by a housing estate.

Interesting fact I just saw.

Ryan Edward's proposed Swindon Town signing(7602 days since first mentioned) has now lasted for longer than the time between World War 1 ending and World War 2 starting (7601 days).

Doesn’t necessarily scream “I really want to play football and I’d love to play at Swindon” does it?!
