Surely no chance as if he continues his rich vein of goals there will be plenty of clubs eyeing him in January so would probably get more, at the moment he has started well but it depends if he can continue, and as he is young his form is bound to dip at some point |

He could well be a Doyle type, scores goals if the team plays the right way & he’s happy.
If that was the case it could be seen as a risk for someone else, especially as he’s only scored goals for half a season

Sorry if already mentioned but Ryan Whealan’s tweet about one of our targets not being window bound (which to me suggests Edwards)
It’s never occurred to me before that as he’s a free agent he could sign at any time and there’s no rush for him to make a decision. Explains why it’s dragged on. He’s waiting and waiting for the best deal.
Of course it may not be Edwards but explains his thinking nonetheless
