Gotcha. I checked Wikipedia and it said nothing about him playing for Newport, but it’s because he didn’t play anything competitive for them. Did score against us in a friendly though |

He trained there for a bit, and has toured exotic overseas leagues for a few seasons since, but he's 34, has a terrible injury record and has played about a dozen games in 3 years. Seriously no. Deeney though, I could see that working. |
