Also the possibility come January MK could have a completely different manager with different ideas.
So could we for that matter.
High unlikely but come January MK could have sacked their manager, we could have sacked Flynn and he could be the MK manager…

Of course. I think I was mostly trying to stick to scenarios that the player himself has most control over. Basically, this is really a shop window for him to do well/impress...the relative level/outcome of this will determine where he is...too good, he'll likely command a transfer fee and MK make a fast buck. Good to ok but under radar...he'd likely sign for Town or similar...Absolute calamity...as I said, his option would probably then be no higher than non-league or Crawley Town - since they seem on paying ''something'' for ex-STFC players worth next to nowt.

Hopefully he's good and a bit so Town at least look like having him here permanently and that he'd be happy to be here

So

Are we happy if the 3 signings tomorrow turn out to be Godwin-Malife, Jake Young and Ryan Edwards? With Marcel Lavinier potentially departing.

All rumours suggest that will be the incoming trio.

Would feel a bit two steps forward, one step back for me.

Those players address some of our needs but letting Lavinier go creates more needs. Just based on that I expect one of the incomings to be the Bournemouth full back.

I thought Edwards was off to India? Him and OGM play in the same position.

Why can't Edwards play central and OGM on the right side of the 3?

I thought it was mentioned somewhere that none of them played on Saturday.

He could for sure. OGM can play across the back 3. I just assumed as the right of a back 3 seemed to look like their preferred position that Flynn had these both trying to fill the same slot. Not all eggs in one basket.
All rumours I've seen of late is that he's expected to sign up and play in India with Owen Coyle

Just doing a little bit of research on Edwards. He was club captain at Dundee United - good. They got relegated - bad.

On paper he seems like a decent acquisition. Big imposing centre back. Appears to lack pace, but that's where you've got FBT (who's not pacy but is no slouch) and Godwin-Malife who apparently is a bit of a pace merchant. And for those that love a goal from a corner, at 6ft 5 offers 'presence' in the opposition box. I'd be much happier with a back 3 of Edwards, FBT and UGM that what we currently have, with that said there was positives from Minturn and Brewitt who look to have stepped up to the plate in pre-season, so handy backups for me.

When i was there on Sat it was said 2 deals were basically done, and neither of them were on the pitch on Sat. No idea who the third Flynn mentioned post match could be.

One of the 'done' deals was the FGR defender. Thats all i know.

Edwards yes

Godwin-Malife yes assuming Edwards signed too

Young. meh. always difficult to sign strikers, we just aren't going to afford a proven name. Stuck it and see I suppose but not excited.

lavinier- gutted. Far too early to cash in. But we are where we are, and if he's not first choice we have to sacrifice him for the good of the team. Accept it but if we then sell Hutton I'll be extremely pissed off
