Appears Rob Angus fed us absolute waffle regarding the 'competitive' playing squad and budget for this summer. The feel good feeling under Clem has truly evaporated now.
Have you just completely ignored our managers interview an hour ago where he said our budget was competitive? |

So on the subject of today's potential signing (potential given what Flynn said last weekend and didn't happen). Anyone want to guess on position, or if they will be underwhelming, meeting expectation, of blow your socks off?
I reckon a defender that meets expectations.
Midfielder i reckon on loan. I think we will sort out our loans first then add a few. Hoping the loans are more experienced than punts as well |

I genuinely feel we'll be alright. Flynn isn't silly, he knows what we need to strengthen the squad. There is money available for the right player, as Flynn has stated before it pointless splashing out or going too early and bringing the wrong type of player in and then the right one pops up later but no longer able to afford him. Will Flynn get all his number 1 targets? No of course not, but that's the nature of football. A number of clubs spending well above the league 2 average this year, and of course you've currently got players demanding more than they're worth. We are going down the sustainable route and we aren't going to break a wage structure on run of the mill league 2 players. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks. I reckon we'll have at least 3-4 solid signings (hopefully  ) |

He has gotten to the playoffs twice, he has seen what the best teams look like etc. He know the quality that is required, and therefore its slightly easier being patient with him. The same could not be said of SDM, Lindsey, or even Morris given their relative experience at this level. |
