I have to say that the wankers on FB have been making my piss boil with their nuclear/armageddon/apocalypse end of the world drama Queen predictions. If I had the time I’d go through all of them and call them out but I seriously cannot be bothered. They’re all cunts.

What has happened today regarding the incoming has come as no surprise to me. I had no idea who we were going to get. Still not sure about McKirdy (though I think it will be good for him to move on now) and I wish him well if indeed the deal is done, if he stays I trust he’ll serve his ban and knuckle down until January or the end of the season. Going back to the incoming it should be clear now the initial tranche of players signed were part 1 of the squad building, today part 2 and January part 3. If we get some loan players in after today that can be counted as part 2a.

It should also be considered that the hierarchy actually do know what they’re doing. The pieces of the puzzle are now in front of us, all SL has to do is put them together on the field.

Obviously this could all go to ratshit but equally we could be promoted by Easter, ok maybe the week after. What is abundantly clear is we are spending money on players, we are giving longer contracts, recruiting for the future, we have a plan and are executing it.

Fingers crossed everyone.

Hopefully this is the last time we sign 19 players in one window.

Or anywhere near that number in fact.

McKirdy looks like it's happening.

A 10/10 day just became an 8/10.

I can live with that.

Assuming it does......McKirdy was always likely to happen. Just a case of brinkmanship and the tightwads at Hibs looking to squeeze every ounce of value out from their point of view.

Good on Swindon for sticking largely to their guns.

Very pleased with today's business. We have an excellent team in the making. A few weeks to get them fully gelling together and we should have lift off.

And we have a number of loan spots still free.....which we can utilise at any point?

I've joined a twitter space listening to a bunch of Hibs fans. It's hilarious. They're shitting themselves that McKirdy might not get done.

Yes I have absolutely nothing better to do.

Pretty mad it can get to 00:10 and nobody knows if our top goalscorer is still our player or not!

I'm giving it until 00.30 latest   Zzz

I imagine he's pretty fucked off with Hibs.

Don't understand Hibs at all, you are signing a temperamental player who wants/needs to be loved and the star of the show and you treat him like that.    Wouldn't surprise me if he tells them to go do one.

There's confidence that the deal was submitted to TMS in time but no confirmation yet from the people I've spoken to.

Feeling is it's done and just a case of when to announce the deal.
