Hibs just announced another signing - Will Fish
What were his parents thinking? Reeling us all in I expect and we took the bait. I bet he was angling for a deal, but they got him hook, line and sinker. He's got a maggot in his trousers, the master baitor Etc...............It's late FFS

Hopefully this is the last time we sign 19 players in one window.
Or anywhere near that number in fact.

Sad... but in a way glad.
Very mixed feelings and just glad he didn't go to Charlton

We needed some good signings and think we got them, the sort of ones that most fans think we should be going for.
Losing McKirdy is huge though - let's hope the better balance and depth brings consistency and options.

And I hope he is a great success there.
He does have similar skills to Dennis Law and will make headlines there.

Being 2 hours ahead here I couldn’t be arsed to wait up to see if Hurry Up Harry went or stayed, Jephcott was heading to Orient or whether the kid in the wheelchair in Game of Thrones signed as our back-up keeper.
Pleasantly surprised at our deadline day shenanigans I’ve got to say.
Hopefully the doom and gloom, we’ve got no ambition, Clem is Power-lite merchants will shut the fuck up now.
Apparently, Jephcott is an out and out poacher. 6-yard box monster. Never seen him actually play but I’m getting a vibe of Doyle/Yates about Wakeling/Jephcott.
The new RB seems a great signing and, it seems, we have the makings of a very good team. Whether that actually pans out, as ever, remains to be seen.
The fact we’ve signed so many on perm contracts instead of loans speaks volumes for what the club are trying to do and full kudos is deserved for that.
Let’s see if Lindsey can make it work. No excuses now with this squad. None at all.

It's never a good thing to lose your main goal threat, but considering that it feels like as good a day as we could have hoped for. Squad feels stronger than it did yesterday morning, with no obvious gaps remaining so can't ask for much more than that.
Fingers crossed the new guys are good fits - so far this summer the hit rate has been more hit than miss so we should be fine with five attempts.

Good luck to Harry at Hibs, hope we did some solid business there, makes sense to get a fee while he's still in contract once we'd secured the others. Ratweasel rides again...
Wakeling kicking on has certainly made that decision easier, but acid test will be after a few games and seeing where the signings line up. Will we miss him by the end of the season?

Bit underwhelmed. Needed an oven ready, decent goal getter to support mckirdy and wakeling. I think Jephcott can be that man, but I’m not convinced Rushian represents an upgrade on Mckirdy, and therefore how much better off we are than this time yesterday
Not writing Rushian off, just first impressions based on an in depth review of his Wikipedia page. Will gladly be proven wrong (much in the way Wakeling has)

Cheers McKirdy, cracking player for us but all things considered I think it was time we cashed in and he moved on. His disciplinary record was pretty shocking for all the good things he did. Good luck though lad.

Underwhelmed? Blimey, you’re hard to please! Problem now is picking a starting XI out of a bunch of very good players.
