Re. Jephcott - on paper, I like it. But, if he’s a poacher, he might struggle - we don’t create chances (despite what SL keeps insisting)
But now players can be put in their correct positions. No more Darcy at RB - McKirdy role? Wakeling doesn’t need to be the focal point - more chance to morph into Yates. By only concern is Lindsey.

Pretty happy with that TDD. Mckirdy and Ward both gone, both could have been disruptive. Squad looks a lot more balanced now overall. As others have said, my only concern now is Lindsey

Shock plot twist and McKirdy deal doesn't go through due to Hibs pissing about.
Comes back, signs a 3 yr contract and scores another 20 this season.

Same as many above yesterday's signings seem decent along with most of the pre-season ones. I dont think the league is as strong as last season and still have my doubts whether Lindsey is the right man to get the best out of the squad.

People seem to be forgetting Wakeling, joint top Scorer and most assists.

Im happy with our window. Really like the look of the lad from Banbury. I would have wakeling on the wing now Jephcott is in

With McKirdy gone on top of the outgoings that’s probably 90% of our goals and assists from last season now out of the door. The question now is can the new players get close to matching their numbers and the manager actually find a formula that works. Could go either way, stronger squad (excluding keepers) weaker starting XI is my view currently.

My Plymouth supporting mate said that Jephcott works best in a 2 which is why he's wasn't playing for Plymouth as they've gone to 4-3-2-1 formation, I can see us going 4-4-2.

Bit underwhelmed. Needed an oven ready, decent goal getter to support mckirdy and wakeling. I think Jephcott can be that man, but I’m not convinced Rushian represents an upgrade on Mckirdy, and therefore how much better off we are than this time yesterday
Not writing Rushian off, just first impressions based on an in depth review of his Wikipedia page. Will gladly be proven wrong (much in the way Wakeling has)
Just to point out, the 'career statistics' of RHM on wiki are nearly 18 months out of date, no idea if he has been better or worse since but its hard to base any in depth review on that.

Not sure he’s even played in that time

gutted McKirdy is gone, but it was kind of inevitable once he wanted out - which I assume he did I've no idea what shape we are in now. The Plymouth kid looks good on paper if we can supply him. Wakeling has something. Spurs lad is highly rated. But really

McKirdy's goals (25 in 45) will be a miss as will the interest of having him around (but perhaps not the soap opera). But we move on, and hopefully the new players will move us forward once again.
No point looking back.

Do they still take the knee in Scotland? If not, then Harry may need to find other ways of stretching his calves before kick off. The guy in the DRS will be devastated, no more "Harry McKirdy oi luv you!"
All the best to him. Not sure it's possible to replace a very individual style of play like for like.
Looking forwaaaarrrrd to seeing the new arrivals in action.
