I've come to the conclusion, based on what he posts on here, that DOB knows about the same as most of the rest of us, ie fuck all, but likes to give the impression, based on what he's seen or heard somewhere, that he knows a bit more than fuck all by posting vague shit that could, or could not, happen. |

I look at it like this.
JoJo Out - new fella and Ward. Not much change AGREE
Egbo Out - Slim Shady in. Hopefully not much in it.DISAGREE as Shade is not a right back hes a wingback/winger who says he prefers left side
Conroy Out - Harries and the other fella in. Quietly confident that’s an improvement.JURY OUT we havent seen Harries yet but Rovers fans are not complimentary, I am more confident that Brennan will be Conroys replacement
Payne possible out - Darcy possible replacement. Could go either way. Payne would be a huge loss and altho rated ok Darcy is not as good for me
You missed Devine who I think will be first choice left back ahead of Iandolo allowing him to play in the middle more where it suits him
Now the crux. No Simpson. No Davison and as yet no like for like replacement. Get that sorted well and we should be OK.
So, yes incoming is slow and sporadic but just 2 quality signings and we can get HMS Piss the League out of dry dock.
Providing Reed and McGirty stay, of course.
For me we need a good right back to replace Hunt and a big strong striker to replace Simpson/Davison as Massey is a development signing and Wakeling has proven at Barrow hes not quite ready for a run in the first team in L2 as yet. FWIW I have heard that Hunt is being looked at by both Orient and Crawley and has 100% left the club. |
