Just read up on Thomas:
- An attacking midfielder
- Signed by PNE after scoring 2 against then when playing for Bamber Bridge
- Released prior to that by Burley.
- Fell out of love with game. Suffered from depression
- Lots of tatts, long hair in a bun

Jamie Thomas released by Preston North End

Hopefully not at our club next season.

Should be alright with a good pre season, but probably more suited to National League North . Can see quite a number of squad places that are going to need filling . His contemporary, Dan Gardner also released at Doncaster

Absolute shocking signing

By Preston yes! God knows what they seen in him to think he had championship potential!!

Shocking signing for a winger which is what he's been used as here. He's supposed to be a midfielder isn't he? I'd reserve judgement on how crap he is until he's playing in his supposed natural position.

He’s supposed to be an attacking midfielder. Wild for whatever reason plays him as a winger.

Not really played as a winger, part of a front 3, totally different than being a winger in say a 442. Still looked poor when he's played and even if he was say a number 10 he wouldn't get anywhere near a starting spot with Warburton there

Not a specific rumour, but Cian Harries has been released by Bristol Rovers, a player Garner signed a fits the exact mould of a Garner CB. Left footed ball playing centre half - would expect we'd be all over that

Would anybody take Bahamboula? Released from Oldham.

That lad definitely has talent and I think, similar to Mckirdy, would thrive with an arm around him and a decent setup.

Obviously has some ability but looks lazy and lacking in a good final ball, but so did Harry when he was at Carlisle.

50/50 on signing him, if he is an option.

Nope, was absolutely useless when he played against us.

I thought he was easily their best player against us in both games, lacking a final ball though.

Clearly has huge ability but completely the wrong player in a relegation fight. To me he seems like a poor man's DJ. Wellens had him on trial when he was manager here apparently.
