If they are willing to put some money into the bid then it could be a decent move all round. We missed Harry when he wasn't fit but if we have players at the club by pre season this time round then maybe we can have other options and that is if the money is put back into the squad. |

I was told that at Walsall by someone close to the club. I don't know them but during half time they said who they were and £250k was the fee. Think its a bit low to be honest even though its his only decent season. Make of it what you will. |

If we were to receive similar for McKirdy and could reinvest that in Simpson, who would have a higher ceiling, could be a good bit of business.

to lose McKirdy for only 250k would be a massive kick in the balls
edit: I like Simpson. got potential. it's more swapping McKirdy+£50k for him I don't see as a good deal

Hearing about Payne to Wigan again. Was thinking of all the Championship sides a lower mid table team like Millwall would suit him, not sure how the neanderthals of 'Wall would take to him knowing hes a massive Chelsea fan though. Harry has to be worth £300k plus add ons if not more in this market. |

But why is it only us who doesn't seem to be able to command a decent fee for a 25 goal striker? 25 goals in a season clearly knows how to score yet (if to be believed) were only getting £250-£300k. No other side would allow their top player to walk for that. Besides TS who else is a 25 goal striker we can get for that?? |
