Southwood looks like he’d be a great pick

Savin looked pretty good against us for Accrington in both the games he played against us, kept Chelseas Baxter on the bench.

Hes under contract until 2023.

He would be a loan I guess as hes under contract until 2023 at Reading.

EDIT: I see hes been told to find a new club.

Very promising keeper, probably means they dont expect Jojo to sign, not that thats a shock.

Also....

I missed Paul Ince getting the Reading job full time.

Sound like they would be good signings if true. Source?

I guess we have to brace ourselves for JJW leaving. I would have been gutted about that but he really faded as the season went on and Ward has done a good job and we could definitely do worse than him as number 1.

It's been obvious he's leaving for a while, for me. I've been at peace with it for a while now.

I guess we have a bit of a chance to sign Southwood. He's from Oxford and been at Reading since a kid. And he's also a keeper that conceded 2 goals per game in the Championship. Don't know what he is like with his feet. If Ward improved that part of his game he would be a very good number 1.

Can't remember Savin. But do remember we had the kid in goal who was coming back from a badly broken leg. He was just as 'good' as Kovar!

He was! Only played a couple of games. He was the one who went to kick a back pass, missed it and it rolled over his foot and into the net.

Just looked him up - Joe Fryer. Surprisingly, without a club since we let him go.

Remember that one,  absolutely hilarious had he had been playing for anyone else, not even under pressure at the time.

Interested to see Kian Harratt, who played for Vale in the playoff games, has joined Bradford on loan for next season. Not saying we should have been after him particularly, but it's very early for a loan signing in my (probably wrong) perception of how the window works.
