So, we signed him on a perm but Lincoln are still paying him?
Apparently so, think we did something similar when we signed Tommy Mooney? (these numbers are made up so don't take this as gospel) So he had 2 years left on his deal at Lincoln and was on 5k per week. We want to sign him and Lincoln want him gone and off the wage bill but we can't afford his 5k per week. So an agreement is made whereby Lincoln agree to settle his contract at 2.5k per week for 2 years and we sign him on a contract at 2.5k per week. |
