pretty ok window for me.
do think we'll miss Simpson. Too early to judge if Davidson can fill in with goals. if he can, we are in business
Yeah I think we will miss Simpson. We certainly could have done a lot lot worse than him. I think Barry might be the real deal - one of my many Liverpool supporting mates said he impressed against them and scored in a cup game not too long ago. The current coaching set up do seem to have a good reputation and seem to be able to attract decent players. As stated above it is exciting to think of recruitment post embargo (especially if, dare I say it, we are at a higher level by then…here’s hoping!). |

He did frustrate on occasion; for all the goals he did score he could have scored a hatful more. The same may, of course be said for many strikers. |

but we have an opportunity this season to go up. got to try and take it. midfield should be mint. defense has been strengthened, though kkh a loss.

His inability to head the ball and his very questionable first touch did grate on me. No doubt when he gets going with the ball under control he's almost unplayable at this level. He will have a good career. |

If he's out of contract I hope we tap him up about joining in the summer. May be unethical but his parent club have treated him like shit so fuck them. Tell him to keep himself fit and the door stays open - hopefully we can offer a League 1 deal. Sad about Kaine but he was obviously playing below his level. We don't like it but it's probably in his and Villa's interests to put him a division higher - as long as he starts games. |

Pretty happy with the business the club have done. Obviously hands tied due to the embargo and whilst I've only seen Davison once the other new signings sound promising. 2 home games this week, 6 points would be a big statement of intent.

re: Simpson. it's true enough some games he was ineffective. and sometimes he missed sitters.
but he did seem to be improving with us. useful goal tally too really
he's still got 30 minutes to get a new loan. Proper shit of Ipswich if he doesn't

Also see Steven Alzate. Many were incredibly wrong on him. Regular Premier League player for Brighton and recently recalled to the Colombia side. Might just be going to the World Cup too...  Even PB said he was a talented player. Slow burner but shame he got injured for Town. |
