In which case they’ll be with us on Thursday or any other club they may or may not be joining, in league two.

They have until 11pm on Monday night. If the players were are going for are anywhere near their first team squads, then most clubs will wait until then to release them so any injuries over the weekend can be taken into account, and whether or not they get their own targets. The fact KKH has sat on the bench at Villa shows that these players aren't that far from their 1st team. I expect the usual Monday evening free-for-all...

Villa have no more games before Monday though, most of the 1st team players are sat on a beach in Dubai on a winter break..

I'd still like to see us sign a more experienced striker, one who's happy to sit on bench but be used to change the game if need be, I just don't think Mitchel Lawson is going te be the player for that

Agreed, JML has pace but needs to improve his overall game and final ball, hes a bit like Keshi when he first signed for us.

A Marc Richards type striker would fit that bill quite nicely.

Pure guess.
Jack Roles
Did think about him the other day, I heard one of the strikers we were interested in was Robert Street from CP who signed yesterday for Newport on loan.

Now without a club after being released by Palace - presumably to help him get a perm move somewhere. Also presuming Garner knows him.
Palace fans were well happy when they signed him. Doesn’t seem to have progressed much. Seems an ideal Garner ‘project’ type. - although we already have a few of them - Aguiar, Dabre, East.

We were definitely tracking the young Sunderland lad that went to Barrow.
