Just seen the dealings... wow. I paid no interest to deadline day, my interest is rapidly disappearing to be honest. All this plus the COVID crap preventing attendance at matches is rapidly killing the club, just a soulless mess now that is just getting easier to drift away from!

Couldn't find a buyer at the price asked? I dunno, I'm not saying that is what happened with DJ, just positing that there are other explanations than the two you suggested. Whatever the real underlying explanation, I'm guessing it's not good news for us, leaving aside the sale of DJ and return of Matt Smith |

This would be a coffin moment in years gone by. Power has literally raised a middle finger to all Swindon fans tonight, and used Sheridan as a public facing pawn to take the abuse (not that he is blameless in any of the current situation). He is literally stealing the clubs silver, and we only had a knife and serving spoon left...
This will be the end for many longstanding fans tonight..
Epic shit sandwich tonight. Some lad in from a shit cobblers squad (still above us of course). A lad fucks off after a couple of weeks and swaps with a winger. Smith goes to Charlton via Arsenal. DJ joins him... Relegation all but confirmed now. Manager who cant manage or even the basics of facing the music when it all goes to ratshit. Fans in tomorrow would of seen a toxic atmosphere....do the usual concede after five minutes and it would of be bedlam! Stewards everywhere and people carted out. What a shame... It's the hope that kills you! |

In days gone by I probably would have, but ultimately can’t see the point now and with COVID a lot of people’s priorities and purse strings are elsewhere. Literally the worst possible time to have an existential crisis... very STFC! Ultimately I can only see the Trust being of use picking up the pieces of the club if it’s left in shattered pieces. Only hope seems to be a new owner... |
