I’m not sure players are ever likely to be that bothered about relegations on their CV.
It’s pretty easy to wash their hands off and blame the manager, the budget, the other players, the coaches, the facilities, the physio.
Look at our relegation side in 2011. How many went up a League after they’d be relegated with us?

Aye but most of them were already with us/under contract. I'm kind of putting it exclusively to players joining a club in January, in the midst of a relegation battle. It's likely if they join they either have limited options themselves, they know/have worked with a, management team they liked or potentially stepping up a division from lower down. Of course all that you said counts but not as much for January window enticement  |

No. Transfer window doesn't open until tomorrow. But there will be lots of deals already agreed which will be signed tomorrow morning. We'll do all ours on the afternoon of 31st Jan |
